HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE A PIECE OF JEWELRY?

Made-to-order jewelry takes approximately 3 to 4 weeks from purchase to delivery, depending on the complexity. Some items may take longer. We recommend reviewing the details for the product you are interested in.

In-stock jewelry ships on the 2nd business day via insured 2-day shipping. Please review the details within each product page for approximate timelines. If you have an urgent timeline in mind, Contact Us in advance so we can work to accommodate your request.

HOW QUICKLY WILL I RECEIVE IN-STOCK JEWELRY?

All ready-to-ship jewelry orders are dispatched on the second business day after purchase.

HOW DO YOU SELECT DIAMONDS?

Jean Dousset diamonds are meticulously curated by our master jewelers, featuring only the finest, precision-cut diamonds chosen for their superior quality and unrivaled brilliance.

WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF YOUR ACCENT DIAMONDS?

Our jewelry exclusively features colorless, VS+ clarity lab-grown accent diamonds and pavé (depending on style) to ensure the best quality and brilliance.

HOW DO I RESIZE MY RING?

We offer one complimentary resizing for engagement rings and non-eternity bands only. This service is available within the first six (6) months of delivery and within ¾ up or down from the original size to maintain the integrity of the ring. Any additional resizing will be subject to a charge.

For purchases and deliveries within the U.S., we offer complimentary (insured and secure) round-trip return shipping along with the professional cleaning and inspection of your ring. Please Contact Us for assistance with resizing.

Please save your original packaging and send it back to us in its original, secure packaging to ensure no damage is done during transit. We are not responsible for damage done during transit back to us, and so, it is very important to properly package the ring.
You may order an at-home ring sizer to assist you with finding your perfect fit.
Please note we cannot resize eternity-set bands (meaning rings that have diamonds set all the way around the band) in order to maintain the integrity of the ring.

DO YOU OFFER ENGRAVINGS ON ENGAGEMENT RINGS?

We offer complimentary laser engravings on our wedding bands at the time of purchase. We recommend laser engravings with 20 characters or fewer. Custom engravings are also available for an additional fee. Please contact our Client Care team to assist with custom engraving requests.

All engravings are done in our signature Cambon Medium font (shown below).

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY POLICY ON MY JEWELRY?

We stand by the quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry. Jean Dousset offers a complimentary lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on all engagement rings and jewelry pieces. This warranty includes any quality issues that arise only from a manufacturing defect.

This warranty does not cover issues that arise from general wear and tear, misuse, and negligence, including but not limited to: scratches, discoloration due to any chemical contact, warped metal, dents, misshapen bands, lost stones, or cracked stones. Lost or stolen pieces are also not covered by this warranty. Repair or service performed by a jeweler other than Jean Dousset will void the warranty.

To enhance your coverage beyond our warranty, we now offer the Dousset Protection Plan, an optional extended plan designed to protect your jewelry against accidental damage from everyday wear. This includes additional services such as:

  • Rhodium plating, polishing, and refinishing
  • Diamond and gemstone resetting
  • Repair of broken prongs, clasps, earring posts, and chain soldering
  • Repair or replacement of damaged stones (including center stones) up to a value of $50,000

Please note that loss or theft, natural diamond pieces, and international orders are not covered under the Dousset Protection Plan. For full protection against theft or loss, we recommend purchasing a separate jewelry insurance policy through your provider of choice.
